Thursday, October 9th,
from 6 pm to 10 pm, registration will be at the Fort Smith River Front Events Building at Kelley Park with a Social and BBQ Buffet Dinner. In addition to
seeing our classmates for the first time in five years, there will be lots of high school pictures to view.
Friday morning, October 10th, 9 am to 10:30 am, Northside High School Auditorium - formerly
Fort Smith Senior High School. Registration, coffee and donuts, tour the new band room, new athletic facility, and new gym. Or you can choose to just walk
around.
Friday morning, October 10th, 11:30 am to 1 pm is free time. You can gather with old grade
school friends for lunch - Albert Pike and Belle Point classmates are making plans and other schools may want to plan a luncheon. You may want to tour the
River Valley Nature Center at Wells Lake Chaffee Crossing at Fort Chaffee. This is a great tour and you get to see all of the new Chaffee developements.
Friday night, October 10th, 6 pm to 10 pm, Adelaide Hall, 318 Garrison Ave, located above the
Varsity Grill. Registration, Dinner Buffet, Cash Bar, Music to listen to or Dance.
Saturday morning, October 11th, 9 am to 10:30 am, University of Arkansas at Ft. Smith
(formerly known as Westark College). Meet for brunch at the Smith Pendergraft Campus Center - Reynolds Rooms, 1/2 block south of the corner of Grand Ave
& 50th St (watch for signs).
Saturday morning, 10:30 am to 11 am. Tour Baldor Technical Center. Kinkead Ave between 51st
St & 53rd St, south of campus. Park on East side of building. Or you can stay for a tour of the Smith Pendergraft Campus Center.
Saturday afternoon, 11 am to 11:30 am. Tour of the Stubblefield Basketball and Events Center.
Corner of Kinkead and Waldron. The rest of the afternoon you will be be free for lunch (meeting with grade schools groups or doing you own sightseeing of
Fort Smith).
Saturday night events will begin at 6 pm at the Holiday Inn City Center for registration,
with a cash bar social hour and class picture. 7 pm to 9 pm Buffet dinner; and 9 pm to midnight dance with a cash bar. Sunday morning will be on your
own, so be sure and make arrangements with your friends to meet for breakfast.
The Holiday Inn City Center, 700 Rogers Ave, will be the best hotel choice for your weekend
stay. Reservations should be made as soon as possible as September 24th is the cut off date. Call (479) 783-1000, reference the FSHS 1958 Reunion, and
select the available room of your choice. The Hotel expects to have a full house that weekend so don't delay. Next door to the Holiday Inn is the
Courtyard by Marriott, 900 Rogers Ave. Call 479-783-2100 ext 2002 and ask for Shawn Patel. Mention the Class of '58.
The reunion only fees per person will be $69.00 or $138.00 per couple and will cover Thursday,
Friday and Saturday (drinks excluded). Friday and Saturday only will be $62.00 or $124.00 per couple (drinks excluded). The class picture fee is optional
and payable to Bedford Camera when ordering - pictures returned same night. Please make your checks payable to Class of 1958 and mail them to Class of 1958, c/o John England, 2609 Carrington Pointe, Ft. Smith, AR 72903. If anyone is unable to pay, contact Donnie Green, 479-452-4595. The
