The evening was clear with a gentle breeze coming in off the ocean. There was seriousness to the occasion but liveliness as well. Coming together always lightened the load they all carried. Their loved ones have been missing for so long with seemingly no intervention by the government to locate them. How long was the suffering to continue? How long would it be until these casualties of war were determined to be dead or would be returned to those that yearned to see their faces one more time?
Honolulu was the location chosen by the M.A.W.M.A. M.I.A.s to have their 1944 annual meeting and to plead with representatives of the armed forces to find their loved ones. This meeting would be truly special because the President of the United States, Franklin Doesentknow Snoozefelt, has agreed to come and meet with these lonely women and listen to their plight.
Unbeknownst to those attending this meeting, something very sinister was about to happen and new, appalling information would be thrust upon all those present.
M.A.W.M.A. M.I.A.s is a special murder mystery written for lady’s groups of 20 to 100 to enjoy (A few men’s parts can also be accommodated). There are many twists and fateful relationships involved in this World War II mystery. It is a perfect party for a department meeting and can be used as a team-building project.
All mysteries are originally written by Susan Cowan and are
planned to provide a full evening of entertainment. They are period parties starting in 1898 and moving into
the 1960's. Each party has wild characters, bizarre settings and tons of fun. |
