David & Beverly Janzen
Celebrating 32 years together!

Married on July 1, 1972 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, we have lived in British Columbia - Canada, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and for the last nineteen years we have called Sioux Falls our home. God has given us many wonderful gifts along the way - our family, friends from all over, and our home.

There have been difficult times, but God has been faithful to bring us through each one of them in complete victory. Thank you for the part each one of you has played in our lives.

God has blessed us with three children. Our oldest daughter Marcia and her husband Steve Swann live in South Dakota. He's a pastor and she home schools our grandchildren, Caleb - 10 years old and Sarah - 6 years old. Our son, David and his wife Laurie live in Iowa. He's co-director of a Christian camp and Laurie is also involved in ministry there. Our youngest daughter Stacy and her husband Adam Miller live in Nebraska. He's a personal investment banker and Stacy teaches school. Adam and Stacy recently returned from a missions trip to Mexico where they financed and built a home for a family. They're already recruiting others to join them next year!

Through the years we've enjoyed working with refugees from several different countries - Sudan, Ethiopia, Armenia and the Ukraine. God has opened many doors of sharing the gospel while helping them to adjust to life here in the states with things like learning to shop here, learning to drive a car, mowing the lawn, and of course learning the English language (They are so courageous tackling that!). We feel like they teach us so much more than we have ever taught them. Our work has really broadened our world. This past year Adam and Stacy had a foreign exchange student from Japan spend the year with them. It's exciting to see the doors that God has opened up for all of us.

I work for a local hospital driving a Magnetic Resonance Imaging truck to local communities and assisting the patients in this process. Beverly works in the financial community.

Our goals are to love more, give more, serve more, and inspire our children and grandchildren to continue sharing the good news. To God be the glory for all He has done and His faithfulness through the years.
